Why do some of you advertise products to the public, yet you will refuse to disclose the price and expect people to call for d price you could have included in the advert ab initio?

My conclusion is that you are either a time-waster or you intend to exploit interested callers by charging different prices.

Whatever profit you have in mind can still be achieved when you drive the volume, if the price is display, more people will show interest and more money will be made.
