The soccer transfer rumours and news are fast gathering momentum as the various clubs try to out-bargain one another for the signatures of players they wish to recruit into their squads ahead of the new season especially in the British Premier League.

The biggest name in the transfer rumour mills of course, remains Cristiano Ronaldo who has become a target for all the big clubs in Europe since the issue of his reported wish to leave Spain because of the on-going tax evasion case against him, hit the news stands.

Rumours making the rounds have it that the Portuguese striker favours a return to Manchester United from where he made the switch to Real Madrid a couple of years back. Manchester United on the other hand are rumoured to be ready to part with some good amount of cash plus their number one goal-keeper David De Gea as a lure for Real Madrid to release Cristiano Ronaldo to them.

Manchester United are also understood to still be interested in signing Alvaro Morata from the Spanish team in a separate deal altogether.

Manchester City however has been the fastest of the teams on the transfer market as they have already completed the signings of two of their targeted players for the season with Benardo Silva and Ederson already added to the team squad.

F.C. Liverpool are reportedly very close to concluding the signing of Mohammed Sallah in a new record signing this week as the player is expected to finalize his move from F.C. Roma for a fee in the region of £35m. The Manager is still on the trail of a whole set of players including his former striker at Dortmund, Aubemeyang.

Then there is Everton F.C. who have proven to be one of the biggest spenders so far in this transfer window, having signed Jordan Pickford from Sunderland for £30m as well as getting the signature of F.C. Ajax’s Davy Klaassen for £23.6m.

Elsewhere in Europe, Real Madrid seems to be preparing themselves for a possible Cristiano Ronaldo exit as they intensify their hunt for Kylian Mbappe who reportedly informed his team (Monaco) over the weekend that should he leave the club, the only place he wants to go is Real Madrid.

Meanwhile their arc-rivals, F.C. Barcelona are reportedly set to activate a £10.5m buy-back clause in the contract of Gerard Deulofeu who is presently under contract with F.C. Everton even though he spent the second half of last season on loan at AC Milan in Italy.
