GOMBE STATE BOARD OF INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE: FGN N-POWER VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Gombe State Board of Internal Revenue Service as the apex State Government agency that is entrusted with the powers to assess and collect taxes from individuals and non-incorporated bodies as well as develop and deepen the revenue sector in Gombe state, hereby inform members of the general public in the state on the following:

✳ That it has come to the notice of the board that N- Power, the Federal Government Social Empowerment Programme has announced that it will recruit 2000 graduates across the country to work for State Boards of Internal Revenue Service to boost and optimize government revenue at all levels with a view to address the fall in government income as a result of the global dwindling oil receipts.

✳ Consequent upon this, all indigenes of Gombe State who are interested and qualified are encouraged to apply for the position of Community Tax Liaison Officers(CTLOs) under the N-Power Programme of the Federal Government for the Voluntary Asset and Income Declaration Scheme.

✳ Qualified candidates can apply by visiting the N-Power Portal at https://www.portal.npower.gov.ng for prompt registration.

✳ Qualifications- Applicants must be graduates, between the ages of 18-35 years of age

✳ Duration of Engagement-The programme will cover a period of 2 (two) years.

✳ Remuneration- Successful and engaged candidates into this programme will be paid monthly salary by the Federal Government.

✳ Applicants should ensure that they submit the acknowledgement copy of their application to the office of the Executive Chairman, Gombe State Board of Internal Revenue Service for necessary follow up and documentation on behalf of citizens of the state who have applied.
