The notorious kidnapper, Chikwudubem Onwuamadike alias Evans, who was recently arrested in Lagos has a Ghanaian passport and owns houses in the country.

The Inspector -General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, who disclosed this yesterday, at the ongoing West Africa National Security Conference in Accra, Ghana, further affirmed that Evans’ family resides in Ghana.

Idris, who underscored the importance of bilateral information sharing, had hinted that the arrest of the notorious kidnapper was made possible through exchange of information between national police organizations.

“Last week, we arrested a kidnapper. He has houses in Ghana and his family is based here in Ghana and that’s the only kidnapper that kidnaps and demands ransom in dollars. He has collected about $6million so far in ransom and he keeps his victim for as long as six months, even if it means paying the ransom in instalments. It is sad that he keeps somebody for six months and doesn’t release the victim until that money was paid in full,” he said.

Evans should have learned from Mexican cartels, they plan their escape route way ahead, but Nigerian criminals have faith in juju man. He should have dug an underground tunnels for his escape. Imagine police come with their heavy guns, fire their warning shot, all he has to do is lift up his fake jacuzzi or fake kitchen fridge and enter underground then comes out 20 street away from underneath another house, his celebrity status when eventually captured would have gone over the roof. Don't think of me as a criminal, just an adviser in anything safety ! grin

you speak as if Mexican drug lords are invincible, pls go and read about El chapo the greatest Mexican drug lord who Escape from prison and was recaptured like a chicken, don't also forget the last days of Pablo Escobar, the Colombian drug emperor, he couldn't escape because his time was up. when a criminal time is up he is doom.
