Due to the rapid expansion of their business across the country, they are looking for a capable, smart and confident Assistant Treasury Manager to join their organization to help drive their business growth.

Job Description

• The successful candidate will Report to and assist the Treasury Manager Lagos, the appointee will be responsible for:
• Managing the cash flow within the company
• Maintaining bank relationship
• Coordinating with the treasurer to undertake short-term and long-term financing and investment
• Conducting cash flow forecast analysis and optimizing financial cost to achieve zero-treasury.

Job Requirements

• Potential candidates need to have track record of experience in treasury and credit,
• Must be a qualified accountant with any professional relevant qualification.
• This is a senior officer role therefore; significant Treasury experience gained in Industry in a similar capacity would be needed
• Must possess excellent communication skills to manage the relationship with local banks and other government bodies.
• Exposure to analysis and internal control will be highly preferred.
• Experience with telecommunication company would be a plus
• Ensure compliance with (and where appropriate development of) Group Treasury policies related to, cash and bank management, FX, etc.
• Manage and contribute to Treasury accounting activities including month/year end reporting and forecasting.
• Manage main operational banking relationships including cash pooling/sweeping arrangements and interface with central Treasury companies.
