The 2017 BET AWARDS was held last night, June 25th. The event was hosted
by Saturday Night Live fan-favorite Leslie Jones. The live telecast was held at the Microsoft Theater in sunny Los Angeles.

Beyonce who recently delivered set of twins was the headliner at the event taking home five awards. She won the "Video of the year", "album of the year" and "Best female".

Tennis star Serena Williams won And basket baller, Stephen Curry won the "female and male Sport's man of the year"

Remy Ma beat her long time rival Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliot to win the "Best Female Hip hop Artist Award"

Nigerian super star Wizkid edged
Tekno, Davido, Mr Eazi and others to win the "Best African International Act Award"
Chance the Rapper received the "Humanitarian Award" while
New Edition will obtain the "Lifetime Achievement Award"
