This is basically for Android users

Simple steps to save your contacts status update whether Photo or Video without asking them to send it to you!

Follow these steps carefully!!

1. Open the file manager on your android (Some android call it file explorer)
2. Tap the option key ('...' or 'more')
3. Select "show hidden files"
4. Go back to your file manager
5. Scroll to WhatsApp folder
6. Open Media folder inside WhatsApp folder
7. Open the first folder which is named ".Statuses"
8. You will see all the posts you've viewed withing the past 24 Hours.

Note: Each of these statuses will delete itself after it has lasted there for 24 hours.

So how do i save it to remain in my phone for as long as i want?

Good question! Its simple...

To save any of the viewed statuses for later view of future reference, move or copy the photos/videos to a new folder on your file manager.
