1. First, cut the plastic bottle in half.

2. Second, put brown sugar (60ml) in hot water (200ml) and mix together. Allow cooling. When the solution is cold, put in the bottom half of the bottle.

3. Now, add the yeast (1ml). You do not need to mix. This produces carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes.

4. Place the top part (that looks like a funnel) upside down, into the other (bottom) half of the bottle, then tape them together if you wish.

5. Wrap the bottle with a black material (Mosquitoes are drawn to the colour black), but do not cover the top. Now, place it somewhere away from your usual gathering area.

Note: Make sure to change the solution every 2 weeks for continuous control.
