Life for you was made of a bed of roses.
You had the best of wines,
as you traveled from country to country
the best of companies with u they dine.

Though not anyway connected to your destiny,
you chose a part full of dark intent.
To kill for grace and not for gain.
And now the act has brought you great shame.

You dragged your countries name in the mud,
and repackaged your religion with filth.
You made your father popular for an unnoble cause
and brought insecurity to your country men.

Though you were born a Nigerian,
you failed to act like one.
There is no understanding of what you did,
even for your act no guilt do you plead.

You had chicken on your plate,
but you prefered greenade on a slate.
I grieve for you cos you've lost your soul
to a religion you think is Islam.
