World Soccer Superstar Lionel Messi has finally decided to settle down and he did so in his hometown in native Argentina yesterday when he married his childhood sweetheart and partner of ten years, Antonella Roccuzzo in Rosario Argentina.

Their union had already been blessed with two beautiful kids – Thiago who is 4yrs old and Mateo who is 21 months old.

The long-awaited occasion took place at City Center and was expectedly graced by other popular football stars like his co MSN partner Luis Suarez, National Team Mate Di Maria, Gerard Pique, Xavi, Cesc Fabregas, Puyol, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Samuel Eto’o, Ezequiel Lavezzi and others.

The stars came with their wives and of course, pop star Shakira was among them. What an assemblage it was for the memorable occasion! No wonder the occasion has been aptly dubbed “the Wedding of the Century”.

Of course, the wedding is worth this title if one considers the fact that Lionel Messi met Roccuzzo as a child before he moved to Spain aged just 13. For a pair to have remained faithful to one another all this long, have two beautiful kids before finally tying the knots does not happen so often.
