I am an atheist who have been to so several churches on invitation of friends. Like most atheists in this world, i have a christian background.

I think the op is right about his observations. I have seen those things myself, except the sex before marriage and adultery part. I only hear them and that wouldn't surprise me because where exactly are you not going to find such things? All the young people i know that were cohabiting during our undergraduate days were not CE members. They are members of other churches some of whom are criticising you now. And it is possible that these same people criticising CE members here are currently having sex before marriage.

Notice i called it sex before marriage and not "fornication". Calling it fornication gives it a negative conotation and i think it is wrong to give sex before marriage, in itself, a bad outlook. I have my reasons.

Also notice that i separated sex before marriage from adultery as i think adultery is bad and should be condemned! I also have my reasons.

Frankly, BLW is a church i admire and i also love the man. Among the pastors i like (even as an atheist, nothing stops me from admiring people at the other side of the divide) and still listen to are Oyakhs, TB Joshua, Okotie, John Hagee, Joseph Ratzinger (pope benedict), and some other individual catholic priests. I think these people know better not just about christianity, but also about the world in which we live.

Honestly, i think the likes of Oyedepo, Adeboye, Olukoya, Kumuyi etc, are behind the first men i mentioned when it comes to christian teaching. You may not like to compare, or may pretend in the public that you don't compare 'men of god', but the truth is what i have just said and comparison is inevitable.

As for criticisms, i think Love World Entertainment members should not get too worried. Criticisms are things that are normal. You haven't even seen 1percent of the malignment other churches older than you have seen and you already feel like the most beliguered people in the world!

Also, for what you call revelations: yes, among pentecostal pastors, Oyakhilome and Okotie are the first pastors that preach certain things before other pastors begin to 'see' and then adopt into their teachings, which makes their members think those things are new, in the same way love world members here think that such 'revelations' were first revealed to Oyakhilome before it was ever revealed to anyone else.

All in all, criticisms no matter how bad they are, play a role in the grand scheeme of things. We should never under estimate the values of engaging one another as that, although may seem terrible at first, but would lead to better understanding, acceptance and admiration of one another.

My sister, I came across this video by chance, I was not in search of a spiritual teaching, because on this side I have a very good level. In my Christian formation, I was taught that one must be decently dressed to go church and even more if one has to climb on altar.
