The only factor that has prevented this talented footballer from achieving his full potential is hot temper. Right from his days in Nigerian league and Flying eagles. undecided
True! Same stories from his Shooting Stars days and even when he played in South Africa.

You don't know anything about football. It happens everywhere to footballers , at the heat of the game emotion flys. Does that mean all other footballer that it happened to are Agberos . We have seen cases of biting on football field, players punching referees, playe s fighting.
Go and look at the video of Man and arsenal.
What about fans fighting themselves.
Common grow up.

nigga you trying to tell me that all football players fight, bite, throw punches in the field?? So what's wrong with a player control his temper when in field?acting like a thug in a field makes someone a professional ba? He wasn't the one that even scored the goal that was disallowed and as 'over sabi' 'mayweather' he confronted the Ref. to beat him up...

As I'm trying to grow up

undecided. Maybe he thinks he is at Mokola stadium Ibadan where they display their thug life.

I think the ban should be elongated to 15 matches and a fine attached so it will serve as a sample to upcoming football stars in Ibadan and Nigeria at large.
u are big fool to be linking ibadan with tuggery when it comes to football.Pls tink with ur brain nd not with ur ass.

The Finland FA have handed a six-match ban to Nigerian striker Gbolahan Salami.

Salami was handed a straight red card deep into injury time of his side KuPS’s 2-1 loss at home to Mariehamn on June 4.

The Nigerian vehemently protested a disallowed goal, directing his anger at referee Jani Laakosen.

Though initially given a mandatory two-match ban for the red card, a Disciplinary Committee of the FA has since extended the sanction to six matches.

This is after Salami admitted his guilt in a hearing into the incident.

As a result, the Nigerian (who has already sat out two matches) will now miss KuPS’s upcoming fixtures against Ilves, PS Kemi, HIFK and Lahti.

The news is a blow to KuPS, as Salami is one of their leading goal scorers with four strikes in the Veikkausliiga this season.

It would have been a negative influence for other Nigerian Footballers in KuPS particularly and Finland in general. But with the likes of the humble Gabriel Reuben, who also plays for KUPS, it neutralizes that effect.
This is Europe and not Street football.

You are wrong brother. You need to change your mentality. Some players play with absolute loyalty, passion and commitment such that they find it difficult to control their emotions unlike others who don't care if their teams lose or win. Gbolahan Salami is one of those loyal players.
