Aregbesola Should Be Impeached! by mdfash(m): 5:18pm On Jul 04, 2017
Governor Aregbesola should be impeached for his notorious refusal to pay Osun workers salaries, diverting the money. Emmanuel Fashakin

*BEING THE SPEECH DELIVERED BY: COM. OMONIYI ILESANMI, The chairman, Forum of 2011/2012 Retirees*

After series of letters of appeal to and meetings with well meaning people of Osun State such as APC leaders, Obas, Security,Chiefs,Religion leaders (both Christians and Muslims),Opinion leaders and Ogbeni Aregbesola himself to get us out of this dilemma caused by Governor Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola trough his blunt refusal to pay us our gratuity from 2008/2012 and 12 months pension arrears.

The untimely and avoidable death continue unabated, over 2000 pensioners have died, many are on sick bed,Many are "Married to their wheelchairs till God knows when, our children are out of school because their retired parents cannot maintain them, many retirees are living in Dilapidated buildings like lunatics, our creditors are making life very difficult for us thinking that we have been paid but we do not want to offset our debts, and so on. We have no option than to go out on street again to press for our demands which is the prompt payment of our statutory entitlements from the recently released Paris Club Refund.

*DIVERSION! DIVERSION!! DIVERSION!!!*
Whenever any money is released to Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola by the Federal Government to make life bearable for the workers, pensioners and by extension, the good citizens of Osun State,he will have one reason or the other to divert it without observing the conditions attached to such fund. What an impunity?

The following are the typical examples.
1. Salary bailout credit facility:
Amount released -#34,988bn
Amount utilized -#18,677,224,582
Amount diverted -#16,311,765,418

2. Relief fund:
Amount released -#14,400,000,000
Amount utilized -Nil
Amount diverted -#14,400,000,000

3. 1st Tranche of Paris Club Refund:
Amount released -#14.5bn
Amount utilized -#4.6bn
Amount diverted -9.9bn

4. 2nd Tranche of Paris Club Refund:
Amount released -#12.7bn
Amount to be utilized. -?

The 2nd Tranche has been released but our Sole Administrator is planning to divert it to another unprofitable "white elephant project".

(1) Ongoing demolition of shops at MDS Area.
(2) Execution of July 8 bye-election in Osun West Senatorial District.
(3) East by-pass overhead bridge.

*CLARION CALL*
The good people of Osun State, how long will you keep mute for Aregbesola, the Omolangidi of Lagos to totally destroy this state?

Do you want him to kill all the pensioners who have nurtured this State from the cradle to an enviable position that attracted him to come and govern?

Do you want him to steal our Commonwealth and destroy this state?

Do you want the labour of our past Heroes to be in vain?

Do you want him to sell/buy all our properties for his personal enrichment?

*WAKE UP! WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!!!*

Osun people wake up from your slumber before this tyrant and his cohorts kill all of you? If you continue to keel quiet, posterity will never forgive you, both old and
young.

Thanks and God bless you all.
