Truth is there's isn't much to the game. Sane mechanics since uns1 for the most part besides the wall fights and the input button sectors during clashing in UNS1.
Basically if you can counter, use your substitution jutsu as well as ninjutsus very well. Add the awakening if or team awakening moment, it's hard to be defeated.

Also there's one technique I use when a person's substitution juts is finished. It gives me made combos in the 50/60s region
