An Environmental Impact Assessment company is looking to recruit a Microbiologist.

Criteria:
BSc. in Microbiology or closely related discipline.
Minimum of 3yrs work experience in the field
Very good report writing and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities include:
• Carry out laboratory analysis and monitoring of microbial cultures
• Identify and classify microorganisms found in specimens collected from humans, water, food, and other sources
• Interpret the effect of microorganisms on plants, animals, and other microorganisms and on the environment
• Keep up with findings from other research groups by reading research reports and attending conferences
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, and recommendations based on research findings
• Observe high health and safety standards
• Keep up to date with scientific and research developments
• Ensure that data is recorded accurately in accordance with regulatory guidelines
