Yeah, a bit steep, though the cummulative price is about 200k or so..not that badt for the combo and listed specs.
I contacted them, and they offered a 40 or 50 usd discount on shipping, though i gotta pay through paypal.
I didnt folo tru..

2ndly the postoffice issh is small money 500 or 1k....
Unless u r unlucky..and they ship tru dhl, where u may be asked to pay custom duty.
Hv paid 6400 for 2units cc b4, as custom duty.
Grand total was still cheaper than inhouse prices

I don't think MPP allows shipment of the package via local post. It will be good if they do that as it will save a lot from the shipping cost

Good day.

Anyone with information on where to get glass-on-glass solar modules? (Frameless modules)

Thanks.

Does the GK series mix grid and solar power together? the MK series does this flawlessly.
Simply put, if grid line (PHCN) is present and the solar panels are active during the day, the MK series inverter will draw power from both sources thereby reducing your PHCN bills
For most other inverters, and CC, they cut-off the PV to 0W production when the batteries are fully charged and grid line is present.
Imagine your batteries fully charged at 11am in the morning with grid line present and the sun is still hitting hard , all that goes to waste.
is called smart boost on my inverter

Penuelseun:
Which type of lithium battery pack, provide the pictures if possible

18650s with same port BMS, 3s12p, 26ah capacity, nominal 11.1v, full charge 12.4v, low voltage protection 10v.

I assume the battery pack works okay cos it charges well with solar via SCC even with adequate balancing and I've had to reallocate it to a place where it functions as a direct 12v DC for 12v applications.

I am away now, so I can't get pictures.

Assuming I have 20KVA/48VInverter, 20 units 210AH/12V, and 30 units of 310W. What will be the size of the cables? Thank you .

Pls guys I have this standing fan in my apartment the reading says
220-240V
45w
50Hz
Pls help I need to know the amp reading
Because volt*amp=watt
And amp =Watt/Volt

But here the volt is 220-240, I dont know how to go about it because it is not on 12/24V

you need to state distances.of appliances.of watever cable size you are asking, ..

@topmaike007.. power is voltage x current, so to calculate current is power/voltage 45w/220v.......0.25amps.
you are working with ac now, so no need for dc calculataions as per the fan

Can someone please give the name of this controller and if it is truly mppt.
Is anyone using it?
Cost of 60amp version and where to get it will be appreciated .
I saw it on Ali express but shipping cost is high. Thanks.

See what will determine the cable sizing, the configuration of the panels, and the distance of the solar panels to the CC. For instance, if you are connecting all 30 PVs in series from a distance less than 10m, you can comfortably run it with a 6mm² cable; reason is simple, high voltage with low current (same reasons power transmission cables are not so big). But if you are connecting it say in 5S 6P (5 in series and 6 parallel) we will be looking at cable sizes from 16mm² and above; as the voltage will be lower with corresponding high current due to the increased current as a result of the parallel connection.

This online calculator may give you an idea.

Quick question.

1. Does a 48volt inverter require 8 batteries?
2. Between 8pcs of 12v 100Ah or 4pcs of 12v 200Ah, which is best considering the fact that one of the batteries might get bad in the long run requiring all the batteries to be replaced.

Thanks My Ogas

there are 2v/800ah batts, 6v/400ah batts etc...batts doesnt start and end with 12v/200ah. 2v batts are the best, if you can afford it, followed by 6v

My Oga, I don’t like 2v charging wahala. Even the gurus mostly go for 12v batteries.

kindly educate me on the charging wahala of 2v batts.
hope you are aware, you string them in series for 12v/24v systems

Seems it needs precise charging and most of these Chinese inverters can’t charge it properly.
Good setup if using Magnum and all. It’s not as forgiving and robust as 12v batteries.

I no gree....
majority of them are gel batts, and gel bats as we all know, are unforgiving if overchared/using higher than recommended voltage to charge them. once you get this right/most smart inverters&CC have gel setting. and ensure your charging system is at least c/10 capable..or maybe c/20, you are good to go

You are on point Boss. In fact, I did some more research after you mentioned that and 2v Battery systems are recommended for large setups.

But I simply want to keep my setup simple, just 4 200Ah batteries. I will share some images as well so you can help me decide.

I am still undecided about 24v or 48v inverter choice as idle power consumption was mentioned earlier for the 48volts.

Please which of the series diagram is the best for running 4 batteries in Series.

Thanks so much.
