In summary, the All Share Index (ASI) gained 52.46 absolute points, representing an upturn of 0.16% to close at 32,354.78 points. Similarly, the Market Capitalization gained N18.08 billion, representing a growth of 0.16% to close at N11.15 trillion.

Foreign Exchange

The Naira at the inter-bank market closed at N306.20 against the US Dollar. The Investors and Exporters (I&E) FX window opened at N365.66 and closed at N366.00.

We expect the FX market to trade within the current range in the next session.

 

Money Market

OBB and Overnight rates closed at an average of 14.40% and 14.92% respectively and representing a downtrend of 81.62% and 81.48% from Wednesday’s closing position of 78.33%  and 80.58%.
