Death from sepsis or severe infections occurs in commonly in low income countries. Many die in hospitals despite receiving antibiotics and other forms of treatment. Now, a new study has reported that infusing a combination of three cheap medicines- Vitamin C, Vitamin B (thiamine) and steroids- can really reduce the number of deaths from severe infection.
