ACTING President Yemi Osinbajo has
assured that with government’s focus
and commitment, there will be a
turnaround in the Nigerian economy in
12 to 18 months.
Speaking at the Quarterly Presidential
Business Forum held at the Banquet Hall
of the Presidential Villa, Abuja on
Tuesday, he said the Muhammadu Buhari
administration has the discipline to
deliver on the promises it made.
Osinbajo, who said government has
identified critical areas to deal with and
was, working hard on providing
solutions, urged the private sector to
partner with government to move
Nigeria forward.

Rather than add to the existing promises, why can't the central government roll out plans and explain to the masses how they hope to achieve them within the 12 calendar months. Its so bad, that we do not have plans For five,ten,20 and thirty years, only short term plans 1 Like |

No wonder Buhari summoned him to London today , who told Osinbanjo that Buhari is interested in turning Nigeria around..Does Osinbanjo realise that by using the words turn around he just agreed that Jonathan's govt was on a better path than this govt because when when you turn around Na back to GEJ era ooo |

Desyner: Nice observation. But let me point out here that oil is a no-renawable natural resource and no nation controls the price of oil in the international market, hence it is catarstrophic for any sane nation to solely depend on oil. Look at Singapore, they had or don't have any special resource, but only recognized the power of education as a panacea for national development and look at them today. My point is that Nigeria should explore other alternatives but first the Center has to be properly restructured |
