Job brief for Retail Store Leader
We are looking for a results driven retail store manager to be responsible for the overall store management of a chain of clothing retail stores in Lagos. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in retail store or operations management. Store manager responsibilities may include supervising assistant store managers.

Responsibilities
• Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
• Increase the stores’ social media presence and increase sales and market share by e-commerce
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Overseeing stock control and receiving orders
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
• Ensure employees project the company’s brand image.
• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Additional store manager duties as needed


Requirements
• Proven successful experience as a retail manager
• Knowledge of Social media as a marketing tool
• Elementary knowledge of digital marketing
• Powerful leading skills and business orientation
• Customer management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• BS degree/HND is acceptable .

I didn't​ attend either...I checked the store online nd it was just a boutique, so I just didn't bother myself.
