At “Seven Eagle Spurs” - Shoprite, Ikeja.

Waitress: Good morning Sir, can I take your order?

Me: A plate of Jollof rice with beef.

Waitress: Ok sir. (10minutes later, she brought my order & I devoured it).

Me to Waitress: Excuse me! (She approached me slowly - rolling her bum-bum). How much is my money?

Waitress: 6,500Naira with the smallest bottle of Eva table water 300Naira. That makes 6,800Naira

Me: grin cheesy grin

ShopRite is a departmental store in Ikeja city mall...so seven eagle Spurs is in Ikeja city mall not in ShopRite...lil mistakes like these are even on Wikipedia ;/

We don't have tastee's money. We dinor come to Lagos to use all our money to eat.
Sorry about your experience, not all buka's are like that. I'm a buka girl and I can show you some amazing buka's. Next time when you're buying at a buka for the first time buy less, say #50 rice and 1meat, that way if you don't like it you won't feel like you've wasted money or get disappointed but if you love it you can always ask for more.

I'm so sure I wouldn't try it again. I'm cool with gala and soft drinks which I can easily buy in traffic. That's if I'm not eating out in a restaurant. Besides, I get irritated easily and can't see myself walking into a buka to eat. The one I did the last time, was cos I didn't want them to say stupid things like I'm feeling too big to join them.

Iya Silifa in Ikorodu #300. 1amala, 2meat.

Magodo gate's Ewa Agoyin and yam or Fresh bread #250
Calabar Kitchen in Lateef Jakande before Mobil Filling station - Enter there at your peril. After buying swallow, you'll buy soup too.
Even with less than 500, you'll eat a Decent meal at Matosh aka Iya Oyo's buka in Abuja.
I love cooking but I also love eating out, I just love trying different tastes and the amazing company you get to meet at those bukas.

Take note that this post covers just local restaurants or what we normally call 'Mama Put'. It does not cover standard eateries such as Chicken Republic or Sizzlers wink

With the rate at which food ingredients is increasing in Nigeria, it has become clearer that prices of food stuffs have defied the law of gravity that states 'Whatever goes up must come down'.

The one wey pain me pass na the latest size of akpu for buka these days. The thing just small like small pikin fist! angry

In my area, if you must eat to be satisfied, you must hold at least N500.
Breakdown: Akpu or Eba (two go for N100 each), cowhead or cowleg goes for N250 or N300

If na Management package when account dor show red, two akpu - N200, one small meat (like maggi cube) - N50. Total=N250.
#200

If na rice or any other food, you must hold up to N600 before belle go set oh! If it's management package, you can roll with N300 wink

Ah dey Warfi!!!

How e be for ur side, peeps?
