(Part 1). 36 WAYS TO HANDLE YOUR SPOUSE WHEN YOU ARE FALSELY SUSPECTED.
In my many years of both deliverance and pastoral ministry, I have met many husbands and wives that have suffered severely from being falsely suspected of infidelity by their spouses. This causes emotional trauma for the person being suspected and distrust in the marriage. The Bible says, love believes all things. 1st Corinthian 13 :4-7. Once distrust and suspicion set into a marriage, it rocks the foundation of such marriage and it brings insatiability into it. Suspicion brings insecurity into a marriage. It becomes more painful when you are falsely accused by your spouse of infidelity. You may have tried effortlessly from time to time, to convince him/her of your absolute faithfulness, but he/she has piles of accusations and facts of your infidelity. I want to share with you practical things you can do to lessen the tension of the suspicion and gradually restore trust back to your marriage. Understand this fact, once suspicion and distrust have set into your marriage, you have to deliberately work on yourself and take some practical steps to save the situation. It may take some time to restore trust, but definitely these steps will be helpful. 1, Verbally reassure your spouse of your undivided love to him/her. Don't assume your spouse knows you love him/her. Audibly say it from time to time. You can make it a daily exercise. Reassuring your spouse of your love will be a healing balm. 2, Verbally reassure your spouse of your absolute faithfulness to him/her. Don't be discouraged if he /she expresses doubts about it. The Bible says, faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), keep saying it, that you remain faithful to him/her. It is not enough that you know you are faithful to him/her, because suspicion and distrust have crept in, you must keep saying it from time to time, reassure your spouse of your unbroken faithfulness. Brother, while this advice may work for some people, it doesn't always work for those who believe that you have cheated even when it's not true. Sometimes it's better to activate the worst case scenario to quell the matter.

For me cheating isn't only when caught in the act, intent to cheat is also cheating and since the accusing partner also usually has intent to cheat, they are already on the same page. If they cannot forgive and move on, I don't think the accused should die reassuring one who when reassured always responds with " Na today? "
