Factors To Look For When Choosing The Right Internet Provider by obafemee80(m): 11:01am On Jul 17, 2017
We are now constantly wired into the internet. We do things like browsing,downloading/uploading of files, streaming videos/musics and updating our social media profiles.
However,it can be tricky to find a provider with the right package for you.Make a bad choice and you could end up paying over the odds or left with cripplingly slow internet speed.
But,how will you know which internet provider that has the right service for you?

Here are five factors to look at when choosing the right one.

1)Best Data Plans
Unlimited data packages are becoming more common as our need for data increases even though the speed may be throttled when you reach a certain limit. So if you stream online musics or videos and download/upload lot of files over 3G or 4G/LTE,then you may want to consider an unlimited plan. But which service offers unlimited plan/no data cap?ntel?cost?
So you end up subscribing to data packages that come with a usage limit or allowance/caps.
If you a light internet user,50-200mb should be enough.
Slightly heavier,2gig-10gig should be o.k.
If you’re a big gamer or someone who downloads a lot of contents, you'll need a faster connection and data plans ranging from 50gb to unlimited plan.

2)Costs/Pricing Structure

Your internet costs can range from N1,000 to N20,000 per month depending on what you will be using it for.
Always take a long and hard look at the pricing structure and data offered for it by the service provider.

3)Network Coverage/Location
With adequate network coverage, you should not be restricting yourself to certain locations before you can get a signal.
Ensure you choose a provider with a high quality of service in your specific area.

4)Speed Of Your Connection

We all want fastest internet at the price we're willing to pay. There is no point in choosing a network that offers the best data plans if the speed of connection is not different from that of snail.
When it comes to internet service speed options, there is one term you’ll want to know –fiber optics.Glo and Mtn offers fibre optics connection which is five times faster than cable in terms of speed.

5)Good Customer Service
At one point or another, something is bound to annoy or confuse you and you are going to have to call customer service to get some help.So look for a mobile internet service provider that prioritizes customer satisfaction.

Which internet service provider offers the most/best in terms of the factors listed above?

Mine is Mtn,because they offer the biggest data offer that comes with more speed and better network coverage for less cost.

Etisalat has speed and good coverage but very expensive plans.Airtel has lower speed compared to etisalat but cheaper plans.Glo is the worst.High data volume, low data speed.
Each got its own flaws
