The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board said it has remitted over N5bn to the Federal Government, from the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME.

According to a statement signed by JAMBs Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, and, the returned amount is the highest recorded by the board within the last 40years, as a result of its transparent system and judicious use of resources.

He noted that more money could be saved to alleviate the harsh conditions of the economy if other government agencies emulated the board in prudent management of resources...
