Arrest of three Ilinternational car snatchers and recovery of stolen Land Cruiser Jeep

On the strength of information received by the police,Niger State Police Anti-Car Theft Detectives intercepted a Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep along Mokwa-Minna road, reported stolen from Lagos State. The suspects Abdulrahman Mukaila, Aliyu Usman and Musa Mohd who are all nationals of Niger Republic, specialize in stealing vehicles from unsuspecting members of the public, mostly in the southern part of the country and transporting them to Niger Republic. They most often solicit for domestic work from potential victims and thereafter dispossess them of their vehicles. Abdulrahman Mukaila was a security guard to the owner of the Land Cruiser Jeep and took advantage of the period the owner traveled out of the country to move the Jeep. Members of the public are thereby admonished to be more careful on who they employ as domestic staff. Investigation is ongoing.
