As his future is being debated by the NFF executive committee in Abuja, Nigeria coach Shuaibu Amodu is recovering from knee surgery he did while in South Africa.

The under fire coach has been suffering from a knee problem for a while but did not have the time to go in for surgery.

However, when he stopped by in South Africa to visit with defender Yusuf Mohammed, the knee issue flared up and he decided to tell the doctors about it.

Amodu was promptly admitted and taken in for surgery, which went without incident.

The coach, who is expected to be fired Friday, is now back home and recuperating.

Little wonder why Yobo,Martins,Yakubu and the rest injured players made it to Angola 2010.

Injured coach will naturally prefer injured players.Birds of a feather,flock together

If he likes let him do nose surgery,he wont be leading the eagles to the world cup
