Yes but why?

That is a felony here and punishable by fine and jail.

The proper thing to do is to keep a log with receipt of when the engine was replaced. We don't know the mileage of the new engine too.

This is why I laugh at people that fixate on mileage alone. One should look at the total vehicle condition.

I bought a Toyota MR2 with 265,000 miles before. It was as clean as a whistle, have had an engine change before.

hehehe not in Nigeria. 97% of car dealers would be in jail, they just change the instrument cluster to that from a car with lower mileage

Problem is very few engine changes in Naija are not done well, you will see wires flying everywhere in the engine bay, some sensors will not be connected, vacuum hoses will be blocked with bolts and sticks .. I don't think any kazeem will install thermostat and ECT2 sensor after engine replacement..

Bros lets be factual, Mileage matters.. Is not the most important factor to me but it counts, abi you go buy car with over 300k miles for the same price with which you can get one with less than 200k miles?
