LOL. Na so one volkswagen haulage driver reverse hit my back fender one time like that. I was on a hold up kinda sha, got down saw the damage and began shouting for replacement grin. No be small wahala o. Fault driver quickly called his "oga" the owner of the transporter vehicle and dude living quite close race down immediately.

The oga after seeing extent of damage said arrogantly , " na this small thing sef make you dey para sef, come make we go my house I get camry muscle wey better pass this car, if you want work am I go work am for you kpatakpata na 3000 for painting and body work". I said OK that'll be fine by me. All this igbo boys sef that lack manner and education lemme show him my other side.

I shift quietly, put a call through to my police friend and few minutes police was deployed from the nearby police station, I then ask them to impound the transporter vehicle until the hear from the the next day being Monday. It was on a Sunday actually. Oga, change tone begin beg and I said NO... You've to use your 3k to respray my bumper o and then you can go for your vehicle. I told him why I confiscate his vehicle is for him to act promptly cos mine is my own operational car.

To cut long story short, I took him to where I do buy paint and they told him paint to paint entire bumper is 15k, panel beater demanded for 2k and painter collected 3k5. grin I guess he learnt his lessons. His arrogance paid the price, was probably thinking it's chere wherre painters I'd subscribe to.

Learning appropriately. I seem to wonder why our local painters never seem to get the exact same paint details in a patch up body work. One door be looking original while the door worked on be looking different. sometimes I wonder if the paint we use here are just fake.

Oga, with the use of the paint code, is there a sikken paint on sale with the code or the seller has to mix paints to arrive at the code.

I've personally gone to paint sellers with my painter to make sure I got the original "auto base" and this has always been the practice but car always shows sign of a woman on "bleaching" cream
even if u use the paint code and buy sikkens, once you don't paint the whole car, you will get different shades. The older faded color will be different from the new one initially.

it's all aesthetics from here.

Interior detailing guy didn't finish on Monday it's the first time iv seen him not finish a job after 10hrs of washing. He said the red mud was hard to remove hence the slow pace.

I will post pics when he's done today.

Paint guy is making progress, he will primer vehicle today too.
