Don't mind Nigerians. They believe anything. EFCC can never reveal the guy behind its Tweeter account. For what reason? Whatever the handle achieve, the credit goes to the Commission not the person. Apparently, in the course of relating with the public on Tweeter, some peeps might have found his comments offensive and vowed to deal with him offline if his identity is unveiled. Revealing his identity is a risk the commission would never take.

The handler is working for the commission not himself. Even if he decides to move on, there's always seamless transfer of responsibilities.
