Lotsa forums got a shoutbox. That does not defeat the aim of those forums. Its enriches the forum and saves threads from being taken off topic.

This issue I believe was discussed before and I think that was the "excuse" given.
By the way, I checked your gistcentral and man, it was DRY and EMPTY!
Maybe you need to "spice" it up?  or publicize it?

Great idea, though I doubt it will be granted. Oga Admin is very conservative. The traffic and stream will be much too. He should do that when he is ready for major expansion.
