According to several online reports,Kogi State University has pasted advert for new lecturers.

   It is unclear whether the old lecturers have been sacked or not.More details later

Governor Yeye Bello wants to replace those lecturers that refused to resume from the strike. Pay the lecturers, they will resume.. simple.

I hope they will not be owed salaries.

It is better to go and find handwork than to be a lecturer and not get paid, thanks to Bello.

mugu..better keep ur dirty mouth queit. those lecturers have fully been paid except those with documentstion,bvn or ghost workerd issue. ASUU are only on strike due to deduction from their salaries as tax...get your facts

Pay what? oya give prove , apart from media payment and snapping ATM point where regular customers are carrying out transaction and they will claim all workers have been paid. comma see them collecting money

I hope the sacked lecturer will have a rethink on seeing this, and enter a new discussion with the governor cause the governor said he has met 90% of their demand the claim none of them have come out to refute but they still insist on strike.

Though there have been argument over whether he (gov) has the power to sack them or not.

I hope they settled it on time for the sake of the students.
