5yrs-old boy, mother, other die in Anambra auto crash

No fewer than three persons including a five years old boy and his mother, died along Onitsha-Owerri express road, Anambra state.

The Guild gathered that the accident occurred when the boy and his mother were returning from hospital when the tragedy occurred.

It was learned that the accident was due to activities of policemen deployed to conduct stop and search along the road. But while on their duty demand N50 from motorist and commercial motorcycle operators plying the road.

Sources said that in retaliation, angry mob descend on the law enforcement officers and beat him to stupor, as well as setting some structures ablaze.
