Finally the senate have passed a reolution that the vice president should start performing the president duties in acting capacity.

from my own POV what the hell were they waiting for all this weeks while they nearly drag the nation into anarchy.

I thought Jonathan is meant to be sworn in formally as "Acting President" or can someone correct me if i am wrong please?

PDP IS THE PROBLEM OF NIGERIANS. 12 YEARS NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT, VOTE ANY OTHER PARTY AND LET US GET RID OF PDP EVERYWHERE.

By the way, Goodluck Jonathan may even be worse tha YAR A'CLUELESS. By S.145 of the Nigerian constitution, he is actually empowered to act as Acting President but because AGF Idonkia is a lying buffon, he has not been advised properly. Assuming Yar A'liar has died several weeks ago then we would't have any CIC, and the country wandering aimlessly, and control by some small cabal.

For political reasons only, that is why the NASS vote matters, even the FEC did not have a medical report to conisder.

S.145 suppossed to protect the President position, since he has not asked for it, he is deemed to have abandon his office, and therefore should be impeached, or whoever did not handover letter ( assuming one is written/forged including the supplementary budget) should be tried and go to jail.

VOTE OUT PDP EVERYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY, VOTE ANY OTHER PARTY OF YOUR CHOICE. THEN WE WOULD GET RESPECT FROM OUR 'LEADERS' AND OUR FUTURE WILL BE BETTER.

they based their decision on the interview release from BBC. they assume the interview to enough to act as the written delcaration. what a useless senate!!!!!!!!
