Even within this statement, I could still see a lot of lies. This government will never learn.

so " you don't have sense" is now a violation of rule 2?

You must really be as unimaginative as your earlier post depicted.

This propagandist needs to be sacked outrightly.....he has displayed incompetence on one occasion too many.....for Goodness sake you're a soldier, a highly senior officer at that, not a politician.....hence you're advice to as a matter of national security and upholding the integrity of the army, watch what information you provide to the general public as you always put....

With the way, this government is playing the acting roles... They are near perfect in writing scripts, am beginning to feel that the "THE CHIBOK GIRLS DILEMMA " was also scripted by this same government.

Yes, we know the army have told lies but what we should question is NNPC's interest in exploration in the North. Why? Who is going to invest? Is the present oil in the south being managed as it ought to? Whilst other oil companies are investing in alternative source o energy why is our own state oil company not doing the same. Dem use oil curse us? Can't we see beyond Oil?

in the first instance, if not the length that the APC led government would go to gratify its wanton excesses, what does oil workers have to do in Borno lounloun?
Civilized countries have made plans to do away with crude oil in 10-15years from now, we are still searching for new oil fields in impossible places
We all know that Nigerian Army is one of the most unprofessional state armies there ever is. We may even find them denying this spokesman entirely tomorrow, so we won't be surprised.
Nigeria is a country where just about anything goes. In a saner country, someone would tender their resignation soon after a press conference like this. There won't even be one like this in the first place

APC government thrives on deceit and propaganda.
"You can fool all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time"

“unfortunate and highly regrettable”-that's all the spokesperson, Brig. Gen Usman said regarding the loss of lives. Too bad he cannot bring back the soldiers and oil workers who died for a senseless crude oil propect in Borno. May their souls rest in peace. We have to be careful not to waste time looking for oil in places where it is not commercially viable to drill. Oil can be found in a lot of places, but it may not be financially feasible to drill and pump out the crude, especially when the price of crude is $49

The only thing that had change in Nigeria for over two years now is the level suffering. Apart from the fact buhari is like 100times worst than Jonathan, the Nigeria army is still the same. This same scenerio played out in chibok

They had no option but to do so because, BH posted the pictures and videos of the abductees. They had to say otherwise to redeem their badly destroyed image.

the proper thing is for the officer to be reassigned.you dont allow him to be the one to commit the error and to apologie for the error and continue in that position.this is an army, not a boy scout organisation.very very sad, that a standing army seems to be in perpetual error in critical areas.
