The All Progressives Congress (APC), Cross
River State chapter has ordered political
appointees to remit 10% of their salaries
to the party with immediate effect. The
party's Publicity Secretary, Mr Mens Ikpeme
disclosed this in a statement made
available to DAILY POST on Saturday.
He said that the party held its stakeholders
meeting on Friday and highlighted
payment of 10% remittance to the party
and noted that the only party member that
so remitted his 10% was Mr Odey Ochicha
who was applauded by party members
while others defaulted.
He said that the meeting prayed for the
quick recovery of President Mohammed
Buhari, the nation and the All Progressives
Congress and emphasized on the
procedure for the election of three
delegates per Local Government to the
forthcoming non-elective National
Convention.
