.Yes, we all need happy homes where satan and demons will not have influence or a say. Homes where there is unity or togetherness. Homes where Jesus is Lord. Homes where sin is not tolerated and played with. Homes full of the glory and power of God.Homes where every one is conscious of God.

Beloved, such homes will not be possible without family devotions.
Family Devotion is the time set aside by the members of a family to worship God.It is also referred to as 'Family Altar.' That is where the whole family meets God - the father, the mother and the children with any other available member of the family(house helps).
Family devotion can be done at any time of the day, morning(after sleep), Evening(before going to bed) or at both times.Each family should decide on the ideal time and duration of the devotion.
Family devotion should include singing of hymns or songs of praise and worship, discussions based on the Bible, questuons and answers for clarifications and fervent prayers for the family and others.It should be made participatory. The father is the family pastor and assisted by the wife.But where the father is not spiritually fit to head it, the mother should lead to keep the family altar burning with the fire of God.
When family devotions is regular and consistent, the family will become deeply rooted in Christ,experience the joy, strenth and guidance of the Lord,be built up spiritually, become a formidable force for God,strong in their relationships,experience divine supplies, a blessing to the society and many more.
