Emir of Keffi, Dr. Shehu Chindo Yamusa 111, taking Orth of office today, by the His excellency Tanko Almakura Governor of nasarawa state. Present were various emirs from the north: Emir of Zaria, Sultan of Sokoto ,emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Lamido and shehu Chindo Yamusa attending Juma'at prayer in Keffi central mosque now. 4th August 2017.

Keffi was a Gbagi town captured by jihad Fulanis who have consistently installed themselves as Emirs just like they do in the Yoruba town of Ilorin and also rule over the Nupe tribe as Etsu Nupe in Bida.
