"supermod" or supersonicmod sounds rather lame/colloquial- surely Nigerians or whoever can do better than this, after all we've been travelling abroad and interacting with the global world for decades now.

Do not take this personally or as an insult.

Surely there's a better way to describe a moderator who was given more "powers" than the rest.

you moderators dont always listen when someone uses the report to moderator function. Instead, you start arguing and discussing your reasons why someone shouldnt find the particular post offensive, which is actually what you're doing now.


Are you trying to tell nairalanders you've decided to turn over a new leaf and pay attention when someone uses the report to moderator function from now on?

I recall it took me moving mount kilimanjaro occasionally before certain offensive threads and posts were acted on.

I also had to start an actual thread for for direct reporting of offensive posters and threads here, thanks to you moderators.
