Lies! They only visit their constituency when it is close to election time. They embezzle the quarterly allocation of N33 million meant for their constituency office and to pay staff to travel abroad and buy luxury cars. 3 Likes |

If only they can amend and stop all these constituency funds, as lawmakers they should be concerned with only making laws and be paid based on monthly salary and maybe sitting allowance. We should focus on the executives(state and federal governments) to provide basic amenities. All these constituency funds, they will end up eating them alone and just buy keke napep or buy jamb forms for a few individuals and pocket the rest 2 Likes 1 Share |

Cash crunch? They are complaining of money to travel to their 'constituencies' ,they should ask civil servants who are being owed several months salaries. They hardly have money to feed their families. It shall not be well with OBJ for introducing constituency 'projects' just to make the boys happy. Nigeria is the only country where lawmakers carry out projects. Until the cost of government is reduced,Nigeria will not work. And it should start by implementing part-time legislatures. Some states in the US do it. 2 Likes 1 Share |
