I have heard leaders come out to imply that politics isn't for everyone. An example was when former Niger state governor, Aliyu Babangida made a comment about politics not being for pastors some time back. This got me thinking about the question of who is qualified to be called a politician. Who is a politician? How does one join politics? What must one belong to or be in order to be accepted by more established politicians into a party/circus? |
