Odinga Wanted As The President, Kenya's Opposition Declared by emmy4lov(m): 5:33am On Aug 11, 2017
Kenya's Opposition Coalition, the National Super Ailliance (NSA), on Thursday demanded its candidate Raila Odinga be declared President, stating with evidence that he had won this week election.

Commonwealth observers mission head and Ghana ex-President, John Mahama said there was no reason to doubt the IEBC's ability to deliver a credible election.

Musalia Mudavadi, the Coalition Leader told reporters that his decline to name within the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission  (IEBC) had revealed the actual result, showing Odinga had won the presidential poll with 8.04 million against incumbent Uhuru Kenyatta with 7.75 million.

The public website of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which is publishing results as they stream in electronically from the polling stations, indicate Kenyatta with 8.1 million votes ahead of Odinga with 6.7 million.

According to the website, results are from 98 percent of polling stations, however the IEBC has urged patience as to cross-check the results with scanned forms.

Mudavadi said "with evidence, accuracy and lawful results in the presidential elections, the transmission received from the polling stations are contained in the IEBC servers and not the unverified display, we demand that the IEBC chairperson announce the presidential election results and declare Raila Amolo Odinga as the duly elected President"

When reporters interrogated him and asked him the source of his information, he cited the case of IEBC computer expert, Chris Msando, who was tortured and eventually killed in late July.He added that the death of Chris Msando created fear and an attempt to speak will be taken that he want to manipulate the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission's electronic voting system.

Conclusively, Mudavadi said " when we are told at the appropriate time, whether it is within a court of law, then we shall present our evidence"
