1. Job Role

Presales/Business Solutions consultant

2. Reporting Line:

To the Head, Business Solutions and Marketing.

3. Job description
• Presales, lead generation and pipeline management.
• Support sales right from opportunity identification through closing of deal.
• Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client
• Determining a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable
• Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs
• Answering any technical questions the client might have
• Maps customer requirements to the company’s offerings portfolio describing solution and scope of work to meet the requirements
• Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client
• Work with the technical and Production teams to review solution and integrates delivered elements into proposal or contract documents fitting to the sales story and customer requirements
• Prepares commercial pricing and proposal writing
• Assists in the Order entry targets defined by Head of business and management.
4. Job Specification
• Supports Account/Opportunity planning
• Building opportunities / pipeline through consultative selling approach
• Moderates the solution design process to ensure the selection and use of best fitting technology, delivery and support processes
• Maps Customer requirements to the company’s offerings to build a solution
• Enhance business opportunities by positioning the company’s strengths and capabilities in front of customers.
• Adapts and integrates different descriptions (technical solution, governance, processes, T&T, SLA) to consistent proposal and contract documents
• Reviews, edits and optimizes the documents and give recommendations for improvement to proposals or even rewrite major parts
• Bid management and preparing documents for alignment with the sales story
• Prepares, presents and conveys the customers benefit of solutions in bid presentations and documents
• Identifies and summarizes main obligations and risks of contracts
• Negotiation Support: Support in developing the contract and if necessary participation in contract negotiations, to bridge possible gaps between legal, technical and commercial solution
5. Desired Skills and Experience
• A relevant Bachelor or Master Degree
• 3+ Year experience within the ICT industry, preferably with 3-4 years of hands-on experience
• Strong knowledge / focus in following technology area:
o Microsoft Technologies (Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Exchange, Lync)
o Cloud and online solutions
o Business process outsourcing
• Experience with large customers in opportunity assessment, RFP processing and business development.
• Good business acumen & commercial sense
• Strong result orientated
• Strong presentation, moderation, planning and strategic skills
• Ability to present to Senior Level Executives
6. Certifications: Sales Specialist certificates in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Lync 2013, 0365(Added advantage.
7. Remuneration : Negotiable
