According to reports, a 300 level student of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Imo State University, allegedly fainted yesterday, after she was flogged by a lecturer, Professor Egbe Richard, of the faculty of Social Science. The incident reportedly happened during an exam. He was said to have flogged her with his belt. The reason for his action is yet to be ascertained.
