Zolake Mandela, Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, after long recovering from drug addiction and alcohol is celebrating 7 years of being transformed into a better person, depicting how was pushed into such life after facing sexual and physical abuse at tender age.

She disclosed that she started drinking at age 9 and then began smoking when she was 13 years. On her journey of addiction, she also into cocaine and at 30 years she was pushed to start a rehab and was miraculously addiction free.

She celebrated as she turned 37, saying, "addiction doesn't always have to end in death."
