2012 movie,i watch it yesterday at the cinema ,its nice ,what do u guys think about the movie ? what messages are they trying to pass across, lets discuss about it.

i haven't watch it yet but i will, i know it will be just like "The Day after Tomorrow" and few similar genre

It puts human nature under a microscope. . .it shows that even most 'civilized' among us can become heartless barbarians when survival is threatned. . .

2012 is a movie adaptation of the prophecy that the world is going to come to an end on December 21, 2012 by the reversing of the earth's magnetic poles or rather what was referred in the movie as Earth Crust Displacement theory. The hype of this 2012 thing has been on for over two years now. I love the fact that Charlie Frost was featured in the movie. I had been a follower of his blog for more than one year now and the discoveries have been alarming. The earthquakes that hit Haiti and Chile is making matters even worse. What makes it more worse and interesting is that about four prophecies have been hammering on that same date. The I-Ching, the Mayans (whose calendar supposedly ends on that date), the Kopis and most recently the Web-Bot (an internet software that predicts the future). Check out these links:

It might actually come true. Did you take note of Woody Harellsons graphic description of how it might come about. Some scientists actually support this theory.

i loved the Effects. . . simply amazing.

Nice story also

"2012" wasn't such a tight movie. The special effects were very good but some of the characters were too stereotypical. The movie also had an annoying sense of humor.
Kudos to Chiwetel Ejifor, Thandie Newton & Oliver Platt for their strong performances in the film.
