Factfinder1: We know that declaration of intentions for Oduduwa Republic was a blackmail on Arewa to relinquish power to Osinbajo. |

Kazim88: It definitely would. They are bigger fish that need to be put in their place. Nigerians are assembling for the mother of all fights with these people and that fight won't happen if yorubas don't want up and be a force to reckon with once more. Maybe the impending disaster of pastor being ousted would wake yorubas up. We have been docile for too long. The peace of a graveyard that exists between the Yoruba and Hausa is because they have been smart in dealing with Yorubas because they know what might become of Nigeria if Yorubas join the band wagon for the Balkanization of the country. Let's keep our fingers crossed and put the Igbos in the middle as is the National pastime. NB: My post might sound contradictory but only the discerning will understand. |

Terrorsquad101: Don't mind the guy. I said the truth and I am ready to stand by it come what may. We have to fix that part of us which makes others see us as a weak tribe else our children won't forgive us for bequeathing such legacy to them. |

cowardSeun:Things are different now. Only Yorubas were making noise then. There is noise everywhere now. Moreover, the northerners exposed themselves through the Abiola saga. The entire south ar e close marking them. Doing anything funny to Osinbajo MAY be the last straw that will break the camels back. Get me right, if yoruba joins igbo and niger delta in this agitations, it will not be funny. I trust they wont do anything funny because they need yoruba solidarity to maintain the status quo. Believe it or not, Nigeria is presently sitting on a keg of gun powder. |

elkon: Emi o nse omo ale oooo, otito owi pe ka ma so Ohun oooo. We have proven to be weak which now gives the igbos the temerity to do and say what they like to the extent of saying our most cherished city is a "no man's land" . Can they say the same of Kano? I am not advocating that we be barbaric or bloodthirsty but we should strike when we have to in order to protect our interest. What we did to the Hausa Fulani in sagamu should be further explored and OPC should not be done away with due to their misdeed. We need a strike force to be able to hold our own in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Okoyiboz3:What by happend whe Awolowo was giving a life jail sentence over treason, nothing Yoruba's did absolutely nothing. What happened when Nzeogwu struck and Yoruba top military officers were slaughtered like pigs and rams, nothing, Yoruba's did absolutely nothing. What happened when the north struck in July 1966 and fajuyi was slaughtered like a beast in his zone nothing ,Yorubas did absolutely nothing. What happened when ogundipe was kicked out of the seat of power in July 1966 even as he was supposed to take over as the most senior military official, nothing, Yoruba's did absolutely nothing. What happened when Abiola was sent to jail for winning and election and killed in jail with his wife kudi rat slaughtered on the streets of Lagos, nothing, yorubas did absolutely nothing. What happened when the mouth maker obasanjo was bundled to prison over trumped up coup charges with all the Yoruba generals and top military officers, nothing Yoruba did absolutely nothing. What will happen if osinbajo is chanced by the North and displaced from m taking over from buhari ,if chinakwes dog bites the dust, nothing Yoruba's will do absolutely nothing. |

Oblang: In recent times, which battle have we successfully waged to protect our interests? We need to look inwards, reflect and correct whatever flaws which exists in us as a people. Although the igbos have not achieved much from the resurgent Biafra agitation but we have to commend them for having the courage to stand up and look the Hausa Fulani in the face. The day Yorubas summon such courage is the day the south will be liberated. 1 Like |
