Maybe you've already heard that the Sultan of Sokoto asked us to focus on "devolution of the economy" instead of "restructuring"

What if there's some truth to what he said?

Let's look at it from a more personal level.

Yes, there is certainly still a LOT to be done by the government. For instance, power supply still isn't reliable (I'm typing this with power supplied from my trusty generator.)

But it's another thing altogether to WAIT until somebody else makes things right for us before we act for ourselves.

Instead of sitting on our hands and waiting for the "right" political structure, how about if we think of what else we can SELL? What skills and talents do we have that people can pay us for?

Are we only relying on one slim income stream? How do we legally increase our sources of income?

While we remain awake to our civic responsibilities, we shouldn't always boil everything down to "politics".

After all, politics doesn't pay the bills.
