Because of his 100-day absence from office, Buhari has not only become the first incumbent head of state to have spent an extended number of days outside his domain, Osinbajo has also made history as the first Acting President, globally, to clock 100 days in office.

The world over, most office holders mark the first 100 days in office to showcase their modest achievements within three months of coming to office, and to also engage with the citizens to know their aspirations and thoughts about the office holder.

Buhari and his deputy have therefore made an unusual history.

What pity? Nigeria deserves Bubu more than anything, this is what politics of hatred and tribalism get one.

You may think that Nigerians have learnt their lessons but come 2019 you will see and hear people give you same idiotic reasons for voting a candidate.

Bros I advice you save your pity for people that truly deserves it.

If only Osinbajo had an idea that he would be spending 100 days in acting capacity as the President, I think he would have started something tangible. He wouldn't want to start to work only for Buhari to come back and destroy his legacies early. I think 100 days is enough to plan and execute some projects that can impact positively in the lives of Nigerians for a long time. The APC shot themselves on the foot here, just because of a few greedy people around the President known as the cabals who do not want Osinbajo to fully be in charge.

Also, the Vice President has been too afraid to take major/key decisions even in his capacity as 'acting president'. He would have scored a huge political point for his party and benefactor if he had sacked some under-performing cabinet members, initiated new policies, appointed productive hands and called the excesses of a few miscreants to order. Instead, he is going round and silently campaigning in case of the inevitable in the name of consultations.

He did his best by calling a truce with the Niger Delta militants which is a plus.

His inability to sign into law some bills passed by the National Assembly portrayed him as one who is still not fully in charge.

God bless our leaders with better wisdom and bless the citizens even more!
