I still do not understand why people put microwave, aircons, washing machine & dryer, including refrigerator & freezers, in an empty house they want to sell. Do they think that the new or prospective owners would not have their own preferences when it comes to such items? What makes the developers think, those new owners will appreciate all those equipment? Developers just use these electronic items, that do not cost up to =N=5million, to hike up the cost of a house, that is not more than 40 million - 60 million, by giving a ridulous price that is twice the going rate for such homes. People are much wiser, now.

One of my clients bought a home in the Lekki axis recently, and threw out all the aircons, cooker etc., that came with the house. He thrashed the home theatre, too. He preferred to have his own choice of equipment installed in the house, rather than live with the ""thrash," that had been put in there. His words, not mine! Only expatriates may prefer such things, but let us be honest, how many expats are buying homes in Nigeria, now especially in Osapa London?
