My soul is plunge into a world beyond
Onward quietude my vessel conveyed.
My sail smoothly to the oblivion bound,
A where as summer's sea calm, and so still
Dead yet a living on my bed I laid
When the gritty touch of pain not to feel.

While the world's cruel chilly cold grab at me
To sleep supernal bliss myselven find
Lost, this quiet abode my refuge be
Where alone in the world no status mind

How brilliant is sleep to be sold no price?
Equal for the rich, the poor, low-living
To us all wights, sleep gift is free-giving
And in her palace, healthiness do lies.
